only in queen creek

ok so i am finally putting another post on here and i've wanted to do it for a long time and havent gotten around to it but here we go! lately i have been noticing all the funny little things that happen in queen creek that NEVER happened in mesa or anywhere else i have lived! heres a list:

ONLY IN QUEEN CREEK:

• do you get stuck in traffic because someone hit a cow on the way to work
• do you get stuck going 15 mph behind a tractor on a MAIN road
• do you tell ppl to turn at the big pink pig
• do people call you when they are coming to your house for the first time and say "ashlee i dont think i'm in the right place...i'm in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!" and you say "nope! you're in the right place!"
• do you find out why the chicken REALLY crossed the road
• are you allowed to have fires and horses in your backyard
• do you find a hive of bees on your back fence every once in a while
• is your backyard jungle jim a GIANT wheel
• is there no point in washing your car because it gets dirty taking car pool kids home everyday
• do you get stuck on your way to church b/c you decided to take the farm roads
• does it take less than ten minutes to get to the place where you're allowed to go dove and quail hunting
• is there a nasty smell everytime you pass a certain place b/c thats where a WHOLE neighborhoods sewer is
• do you hang out at the slaughter house with your friends

anyways these are just a few but we LOVE living in queen creek! it is so much fun and even though there are some silly little things that happen and NEVER would have happened in mesa...we would not change it for the world! it is so fun to kind of feel like a little farm family :)
